Even as the Endowment remains dedicated to supporting its founders’ commitment to the causes of community development, education and religion, we also honor their creative generosity toward other compelling causes. These have included projects that honor and help veterans and members of the military and their families; special initiatives of the Smithsonian Institution’s museums; and supporting efforts that alleviate suffering caused by major disasters in Indiana and across the United States.
