Like most websites, the Endowment collects and stores various types of information about you through the Site, depending on your activities when visiting. However, some uses of the Site may be limited should you decide not to disclose such personal information (for example, requesting additional information about the Endowment’s programs or activities by way of email).
Use and Sharing of Personal Information
The Endowment may use your personally identifiable information, or other information collected in connection with your visiting the Site, for the following purposes, among others: to provide easy access every time you return to the Site without requiring re-entry of information; to keep you informed about programs in which you may have interest; to assess general usage patterns; to meet legal and regulatory obligations; to prevent fraud, infringement, or other potential misuses of our services; to respond to inquiries from you; to send you communications about our programs or activities; to administer and make improvements to the Site; to collect demographic information; or to analyze the collected information.
The Endowment sometimes works with service providers, consultants, agencies and other organizations to perform functions or conduct activities on our behalf, such as providing program information to potential or existing grantees, preparing requests for proposals, evaluating grant programs, sending communications and managing data. Security – Protection of Personally Identifiable Information
The Endowment will not rent or sell personally identifiable information to anyone. We have implemented security measures for all information systems under the Endowment’s control so that, to the extent possible, your personally identifiable information will not be lost, misused or altered.
The Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) and the Endowment will not knowingly use the Site to collect personally identifiable information from children. The Endowment encourages parents and guardians to be aware of and participate in all of their children’s online activities. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with information, please contact us using the information below and we will promptly delete your child’s information.
Linking to Third-Party Websites
The Site contains links to websites operated by third parties. These links are provided to you for informational purposes only; once you connect with another site by choosing a link, you will no longer be on the Endowment’s website. The posting of information about third parties and the provision of links to third-party websites does not represent the Endowment’s endorsement or support of any organization, its programs or services, or the content included on its website. You may request a copy of personally identifiable information about you that has been collected through the Site or ask for updates or corrections to such information by contacting the Endowment at the email address located at the end of this Privacy Policy.
